David Lawrence

David co-founded Pegasus Capital in 2011 and has 25 years’ experience in corporate finance and private equity.

He focuses primarily on advising companies in the technology sector. Recent company sale and funding transactions on which David has advised include the $56m investment in LearnUpon by Summit Partners, the €45m sale of Adaptive Mobile Security to Enea AB, the sale of Rainmaker Technologies to Skymetrix GmbH, the equity investment by ScaleUp Capital in Zevo Health, the $13m investment by Ashgrove Capital in Newswhip Media, the sale of Acquirer Systems to UL Inc., the investment by Molten Ventures in Roomex, the investment by ACT in VideoElephant, and the investment by Intel Capital in FeedHenry.

Prior to co-founding Pegasus David spent 6 years with IBI Corporate Finance, and 6 years with Lioncourt Capital, a mid-market private equity firm focused on the UK and Ireland.

David is first class honours Bachelor of Commerce graduate from University College Dublin, and an Associate of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland.
