Acquisition of Resource Chemicals by CSG Chemical Solutions

Following on from Pegasus Capital advising CSG Chemical Solutions on its agreement to acquire Celtic Water Care Solutions in January 2026, we have advised on its acquisition of UK-based chemical distribution specialist Resource Chemicals. Resource Chemicals is an established UK platform with sales of €29M (GBP£25M), more than 200 customer relationships, and expertise across a wide range of products and pack sizes, from bulk distribution through to smaller-pack supply.
The acquisition forms part of CSG’s broader plan to develop a stronger, more capable UK platform through targeted investment and carefully selected acquisitions that enhance supply resilience, technical capability and customer service across essential industrial, water and environmental markets.
These recent transactions support CSG’s long-term growth strategy, bringing annualised group revenue to more than €100M. CSG is targeting revenues in excess of €150M by 2030. This growth is underpinned by ongoing multi-million-euro investment at its sites in Shannon and Foynes.
